Billetto Advertising - not just a fancy feature but a tool that drives results

Written by Mathilde Voss | 26-Nov-2025 10:58:38

Billetto has been a platform for selling tickets to events since 2009. Throughout the years, it became clear that organisers who weren’t the biggest and most famous had trouble selling out all of their tickets. Which is sad to see for us, as we know how much time, effort, and value have been put into creating the event.

To fix this problem, Billetto as a whole came together with a brand new feature, something that wasn’t on the market at the time: Billetto Advertising.

How does Billetto Advertising work?

It might be a bit overwhelming to be introduced to a feature you might not know much about. But it is actually pretty easy.

👉Enable Billetto Advertising here

Where is your event posted?

We make sure your event gets seen by both the people who already know you — and the ones who haven’t discovered you yet. When you activate Billetto Advertising, your event is automatically featured on Billetto.co.uk, and from there, you decide where you want to push it further. You can choose the channels that fit your audience best:

  • Email marketing – shared with more than 600,000 active ticket buyers.
  • Google Ads – so your event shows up when people search for experiences like yours.
  • Publishers – extra visibility through relevant event and culture networks.
  • Social media – promoted across digital media to reach both current and new ticket buyers.

No Cure, No Pay

When we say "No Cure, No Pay", we mean you pay only for the tickets we sell through Billetto Advertising. Meaning, if you choose 10 tickets to be sold through Billetto Advertising and we successfully sell 8, well, then you pay your chosen percentage for 8 tickets, and not 10.

Are these just empty words?

No! Billetto Advertising works! And yes, we know that we are advocates for wanting to tell you that it works, so instead, we want to show you the success numbers.

Billetto Advertising Statistics for 2025

This year, the organisers who used Billetto Advertising sold a total of 19.6% more tickets than they would have without it. Over the years, the grand average has been 20.3% more tickets sold with Billetto Advertising. Tickets that normally wouldn’t be sold.

Success cases

To add to the overall success numbers of Billetto Advertising, we also have some success cases for organisers where the numbers speak for themselves.

Concerto Copenhagen

Concerto Copenhagen had a strong event on their hands — they simply needed a little extra push to reach the full potential of their ticket sales. After activating Billetto Advertising, their sales climbed noticeably, increasing by +64.97%.
Out of the 970 tickets they announced, 248 were sold directly through Billetto Advertising, helping drive a total of 822 tickets sold out of 1,078 available. The campaign also created solid visibility, generating 6,190 ad views and 10,595 clicks on the event page — around 69 clicks per day on average.

Echo Three Fest

Echo Three Fest had a great party ready to go, but needed Billetto Advertising to promote it to the right audience. Once they turned on the feature, their ticket sales increased by +14.43%. Advertising led to 65 direct ticket purchases, contributing to a total of 533 tickets sold overall. Alongside the boost in sales, the event received 10,834 views, showing that the campaign created real attention and momentum leading up to the festival.

Coming Home Festival

Coming Home Festival already had a strong lineup — they just needed support getting that message out to more potential ticket buyers. When they activated Billetto Advertising, sales grew by +46.31%, and the campaign delivered 502 tickets sold through advertising alone. In total, the festival sold 1,601 tickets, making the campaign a clear win for both reach and revenue. The event also achieved 13,887 views, reflecting strong interest and widespread visibility in their target audience.

In conclusion

Hopefully, you now understand what Billetto Advertising is and how it can help you moving forward! If you don't already have an event, you can easily create one here. But remember to turn on Billetto Advertising for maximum exposure. And don't forget that we have multiple features to make the most out of your event. You can read more about those on our page: Billetto Homepage.
