SEE IT IN ACTION

Your season, the way it looks in Billetto

PERFORMANCESEvery performance in the run

Run every performance from one calendar

Previews, opening night, evening performances and weekend matinées. Create each performance with its own capacity, follow how every house is filling and see the moment a performance sells out.

  • Matinée and evening performances on the same day, each with its own capacity
  • Live ticket counts for every performance in the run
  • Put the next block of performances on sale in minutes

SEATING CHARTS

Your auditorium, drawn once and used every night

Draw your theatre with its stalls, circle and balcony, then connect the seating chart to every performance, booking or membership. A 60-seat studio or a house on several levels works the same way.

  • Sections and floors for stalls, circle and balcony
  • Zones for standing or unreserved areas
  • Change a guest's seat straight from the order

TICKETSTicket types and promo codes

Price every house the way you want

Full price, premium, concession and preview tickets on the same performance, plus promo codes for schools, groups, partner venues and the cast's friends and family.

  • Each ticket type has its own price, quantity and release time
  • Promo codes with usage caps for schools, groups and partners
  • Members-only tickets that only your members can book

MEMBERSHIPS AND SEASON PASSES

Turn your regulars into members

Sell a Friends membership that renews every year or month, or a season pass for a fixed run of performances. Connect performances so members get in automatically, or give them members-only tickets.

  • Yearly, monthly or one-time memberships, renewed automatically by card
  • Season passes with fixed start and end dates
  • Members scan their membership QR code at the door
Explore memberships

ADD-ONS AND GIFT CARDS

Sell the whole evening, not just the seat

Offer pre-theatre dinner, interval drinks, parking and merchandise next to the ticket. Make an add-on for one production, or create it at account level and share the stock across the season.

  • Event-specific or account-level add-ons with shared inventory
  • Sold and remaining quantity for every add-on at a glance
  • Gift cards and memberships sold from the same account

MARKETPLACEDiscovery on Billetto

Get found by people planning a night at the theatre

Public performances appear on the Billetto marketplace, where theatre has its own category under performing arts. People browsing for something to see this week find your production next to the rest of the city's programme.

  • Public performances listed in the theatre category on Billetto
  • Each production gets its own event page, ready to share
  • Followers and buyers become contacts you can reach again

ADVERTISINGBilletto Advertising

Ads that only cost you when they sell a seat

Switch on Billetto Advertising for a production and Billetto builds the ads from your event page and publishes them on Google, Meta, Billetto and its newsletters. You follow clicks, orders and revenue for every performance in your account.

  • You only pay for tickets sold through Billetto Advertising
  • Organisers sell around 20% more tickets on average
  • Clicks, orders, conversion and revenue for every performance

AUDIENCESKnow your audience

See who comes to your theatre

Every ticket buyer, member and follower becomes a contact in Audiences. See how many people you can reach, what they spend and which age groups fill your house, then save the segment you want to invite to the next production.

  • Contacts created automatically from orders and followers
  • Age, gender and average order value at a glance
  • Filter by permission to inform before you send a campaign
Explore audiences

EMAIL AND SMSReach your audience

Fill the last seats with an email or a text

Send a newsletter when a new season goes on sale, or a quick SMS when tonight's performance has a few seats left. Pick a segment, write the message and follow opens, clicks and tickets sold.

  • Newsletters about the new season to people who came before
  • SMS for last-minute seats and changes on the day
  • Opens, clicks and ticket sales reported per send
Explore email

AUTOMATIONSSet it up once

Emails that go out for every performance, without you

Create reusable emails and decide when they are sent during the event lifecycle: a welcome after booking, a reminder the day before and a follow-up the morning after. Reuse them across every performance in the season.

  • Welcome emails with arrival information for new bookers
  • Reminders before the performance and updates if anything changes
  • Follow-ups after the show, with a survey or the next production
Explore automations

FRONT OF HOUSECheck-in on the night

Get the whole house seated before curtain up

Scan tickets with the Billetto app as the audience arrives, sell returns and walk-ups at the box office and check in press and comps. Online, box office and comp tickets count towards the same house, so you always know how full it is.

  • Several front-of-house staff can scan at once on separate devices
  • Box office sales with Billetto POS on the same allocation as online
  • Guest lists and comps for press, cast and crew

BY THE NUMBERS

Theatres and organisers across Europe already sell on Billetto

Billetto in numbers

  • 160,000+ organiser accounts have sold tickets on Billetto
  • 10M+ tickets sold through Billetto
  • 14 European markets

Help when you need it

  • Customer Success Manager: on the Growth plan, for organisations selling more than 1,000 tickets a year
  • Support team: email or call a real person on weekdays
  • Billetto Advertising: campaigns built from your event page, paid per ticket sold

Run a full season from one account

Plays, musicals and studio work across the year, with every performance in one place.

  • Seating charts for every auditorium you programme
  • Friends memberships and season passes with automatic renewals
  • One back office for orders, revenue and fees across the season

How a season goes on sale

The new season is published on one morning. Friends get members-only tickets first, a newsletter goes to everyone with permission to inform the next day, and the opening week of the main-house play is close to full before previews start.

Sell a tour, venue by venue

Give every venue on the tour its own event page and follow sales across the whole run.

  • One event per venue, each with its own seating chart and ticket types
  • Billetto Advertising for the dates that need help
  • Sales and revenue for every date in one overview

How a tour fills up

All dates go on sale together. The company shares a promo code with its followers, and the venues that sell slowest get Billetto Advertising switched on, paid only for the tickets it sells.

Keep it simple for volunteer-run theatre

Everything a community group needs, without a monthly fee.

  • No setup fee or subscription, just a small fee per ticket
  • Event keys so volunteers can scan without your login
  • Contacts from every production you can invite back next time

How a community production sells

Tickets go on sale six weeks ahead and the production is listed in the theatre category on Billetto. On the night, volunteers on the door scan tickets from their own phones with an event key.

Long runs, big houses

Sell weeks of performances with different prices for every part of the house.

  • Ticket types by area of the house, with their own quantity and price
  • Add-ons such as interval drinks and merchandise next to the ticket
  • Email and SMS to fill the quieter midweek performances

How a midweek house gets filled

Tuesday performances sell slower than weekends, so an email goes to past bookers with a promo code for that night, and an SMS on the day lets people know a few seats are left in the circle.

Easy booking for families and schools

Matinées, school groups and family tickets for the same production.

  • Child, adult and family ticket types on the same performance
  • Promo codes with usage caps for schools and groups
  • Automated reminders with arrival information before the show

How a family show runs

Weekend matinées sell to families online, while schools book weekday performances with their own promo code. The day before, an automated email reminds everyone when doors open.

Theatre as part of the programme

Add drama, dance and spoken word to a venue that also runs music, comedy or film.

  • Embedded checkout on your own website
  • Box office sales with Billetto POS on the same allocation as online
  • Payouts and reports your finance team can reconcile

How a venue sells from its own site

The checkout is embedded on the venue's website, so the audience books without leaving it. Walk-ups pay by card at the box office with Billetto POS, from the same allocation as online sales.

Can I run matinées and evening performances on the same day?

Yes. Create each performance with its own capacity, ticket types and check-in, so you can follow sales for every performance separately.

Yes. Billetto POS takes card payments at the venue and uses the same ticket allocation as online sales. Memberships can be sold in person through POS too.

How does check-in work on the night?

The Billetto scanning app validates tickets, handles guest lists and comps, and shows arrivals in real time. Several people can scan at once on separate devices, and members of connected events scan their membership QR code.
